1920’s Minneapolis Duplex Modernization

This 1920s Minneapolis duplex underwent a thoughtful first-floor remodel that balanced modern updates with historic charm. We completely gutted the kitchen and bathroom, making way for a more functional and stylish space while preserving the home’s character.

To maintain the original woodwork, we carefully restored what we could and custom-matched trim where necessary, ensuring a seamless blend of old and new. Custom cabinetry was necessary to seamlessly blend into the home’s historic style while adding a modern touch and maximizing storage. The modern updates fit perfectly in the space to give it a modern feel while still complementing and preserving the original feel of the home.
